Originally released in 2007, the ProGrid Paramount returned in early 2026 with an authentic Y2K design rooted in Saucony’s performance running heritage and reinterpreted for everyday wear. The model features a breathable open-air mesh upper, minimal synthetic overlays, and an internal fabric cage that creates a clean, streamlined profile. Signature ProGrid cushioning provides responsive comfort and shock absorption underfoot, while Arch-lock medial support and a molded TPU heel cup deliver stability for all-day wear.
For a-feeling, the project serves as both design exploration and cultural commentary, anchored in the universal language of feeling.
In the early 90’s Saucony’s GRID System technology was positioned as the *The Science of WOW!* The expression of *WOW!* is something that is universally understood across languages, it’s instinctual, emotional, and immediate. With this project, we tapped into that shared sense of excitement and surprise, creating something that feels expressive without needing translation.
